Oh yeah.... Betty's paddling out. And like Bodhi, she's not coming back.
We are down to our last few Black Betties, good people. And though we try to send out only the cleanest, most perfect product in every instance, those few that remain are likely to feature one more stretch mark than normal or a small patch where the finish is slightly uneven.
These very slight, natural imperfections are inherent to the Bison hides and will in no way impact the performance of the apron over the long haul. Still, I want to be sure we're all clear on what we're working with here.
About the Goods
In short, these babies are just as sweet in person as they are in the pics. Nothing short of super freaking cool. Oh, and I've only got enough green for a handful of aprons, in case that's your jam. Consider this one a "while supplies last" kind of situation.
Main Panel: Hand-dyed Black Bison Thickness:4-4.5oz whole hide leather Front pocket: Hand-Dyed Black Back Pocket: You've got options D-tabs: Black Straps: Black
Hardware:Nickel, Vintage Brass Length Options: Short version below.
Streamlined Plain Front:This is the classic Calavera style... no muss, no fuss. Still, all aprons come with a standard-issue upper pocket for pens, pencils, small rulers and such.
Lower Pocket (with or without flap):A traditional rectangular pocket style that hews tight to the main apron panel to prevent accumulation of dust and debris, with or without the inclusion of the optional upper flap.
Paolini Pocket:Generously sized, side-entry pouch design prevents dust and debris from collecting, without the need for flaps. If we were going to rock the pocket, this would be our choice. Named after Gregory Paolini, who is a fantastic woodworker and teacher, as well as one of our favorite human beings.
X-Back: For an incredibly comfortable fit, choose the adjustable 1" harness-style straps with quick-release.
Y-Back: Combines the comfort of the harness style straps with a sturdy, adjustable belt for a perfect, secure fit.
